Congratulations to Kimberly & Scott who married at Thorpeness Country Club!
The weather is certainly heating up for the summer and its certainly getting hard to maintain a cool temperature covering all these weddings. I have quite a few updates to post, here is the first of many. Right at the start of the heatwave!
Congratulations to Danny & Kerry who got married at Thorpeness Country club a few weeks ago. I don’t think they imagined they would get such a hot, sunny day but it worked wonders for their plans. Danny & Kerry were recommended to meRead More »
Time for a Civil Ceremony! Meet Becky & Kristina, these two lovely ladies had their do at Thorpeness Country Club a couple of weeks back. Great to see that Civil Ceremony’s in Suffolk are on the up! While I was only there for a short while on the day, I managed to capture some fantastic images on them both on the shore front across the road from Thorpeness Country Club. I think this season has opened with the worst run of weather I’ve encountered to date. If it’s not raining, the ground is just too damp or it’s too windy. This was all encountered a couple of weekends ago at Thorpeness Country Club in Aldeburgh. It’s always a logistical nightmare to organise group shots in this type of scenario, made even worse by being on the coast!

The weather is not exactly being kind to anyone this month, especially anyone who’s planning having the majority of their wedding day outside! Luckily Suffolk has some great wedding venues on offer with lots of experienced staff; Thorpeness Country Club being one of them! Unfortunately, for the wedding of Sarah & Steve, the weather was not all that great, but it did manage to clear up for a few group photographs outside in the hotel gardens. It’s great to see that the spirits of the day were all very high and nobody minded a bit of drizzle.Read More »
It was a bright BRIGHT day a couple of weeks back when I was in Thorepness for Victoria & Marc’s wedding. So bright in fact I could have made use of a 20×30′ defuser panel! Never the less it was very warm and with plenty of areas of shade around the hotel and country club grounds all was well. I had great fun while I was with the girls in the hotel room. A little mention to the bridesmaids; who had me in absolute stitches right from the start. I am glad everything stayed where it was supposed to! CUPCAKES!!!Read More »
I have A LOT of catching up to do on here! Sorry to the regulars who keep an eye on the blog, I am getting around to posting all the new stuff! I currently have 3 weddings that I am retouching at the moment, 2 more weddings happening next week, 4 albums to design and no where near enough coffee!!!….Oh and a great story about how I had to get my Mercedes towed out of a ditch before Tim & Sophie’s wedding party last Saturday! But I’ll keep that one till later….
So here is a new update… Juliet and Nick’s wedding at Aldeburgh Parish Church & Thorpeness Country Club. Enjoy!Read More »
