Steve & Emma – Le Talbooth

What an amazing day it was at Le Talbooth in Essex for the wedding of Steve and Emma! This is an incredible venue and for those of you, that know the Milsons Hotel & Resturants the food and service they provide is absolutely amazing. Le Talbooth has perfectly manicured grounds with a permanent marquee in place for weddings and events. I met Steve and Emma at a wedding fair over a year prior and got into a conversation regarding wedding venues and I suggested that they check out this venue. This conversation clearly paid off as not only did they book this venue but they also booked me to shoot the day! The wedding was held in March which is always a gamble with the weather. Unfortunately, it was not the brightest of days but Steve, Emma and guests braved the elements for a short while for me to cover all the main important shots outside with the venue’s gardens as a backdrop.

My day started at Le Maison Talbooth, the wedding venues sister hotel a stone’s throw away for a few getting ready shots. Hair and makeup was provided by Gemma Markham who did a fantastic job. She is a local hair stylist who I thoroughly recommend checking out. As the guests started to arrive at the venue I headed over to cover the Groomsmen allowing me to be set up and ready for Emma’s arrival. The heavens opened during the ceremony but stopped for the drinks reception. The wedding party then moved over to the marquee for the wedding breakfast and the evening entertainment provided by Gareth at Flame Entertainments – a hugely popular DJ.
