Tim & Kate – Wolverstone Hall Wedding

It was a beautiful summers day for the wedding of Tim and Kate at Wolverstone Hall in Suffolk last August. My day’s first duty was to attend the home of the bride for a few getting ready shots in Ipswich not far from the venue itself. Kate alongside her four bridesmaids were part way through their preparations on my arrival which gave me plenty of chance to capture the finishing touches and some portraits of them all together in the garden. Once completed I hurried over to the venue to cover the wedding guests as they arrive and a few of the Groomsmen before Kate made her arrival. Tim had a passion for restoring original Mini Coopers so it only seemed natural to incorporate his pride and joy into the shots.

Once the vows had been covered the guests moved over to the rear gardens at Wolverstone Hall for some photos and much-appreciated drinks reception. It was a very hot day which everyone made the most of by congregating outside on the tables provided. Wolverstone Hall has exceptionally vast grounds, too much to cover in a single wedding. I hope to return to make use of the different areas that were available in a future wedding. Guests were then ushered into The Orangery for the couples wedding breakfast and the evening party commenced.

Below are some shots from the days’ festivities!
